H3 : Advantages of learning a foreign languages

......Learning a foreign language has several advantages. First of all, it is possible to learn that country's culture while learning their langage. Second, being able to speak a foreign language is useful when you traveling. If you can speak local languages when traveling, the people will be friendlier than others who don't speak the language. Most of all, learning a foreign language can help us to enlarge and develop our knowledge.

    I think it's important to learn as many things in life as possible. It doesn't matter whether you're good at it or not but the experience of just doing it. One of my mottos in life is, "Don't knock it until you try it." Does anyone know what that means???

    I found that means of "Don't knock it until you try it." I totally agree,kim. I'm interested in Chinese too. But even just learning English is hard for me.^^;;
