H11: East or West
......The East or West, in my opinion, it is same when we think about human beings. First of all, they all eat, wear and sleep whatever they live in the East or West. Second, they all communicate via a language whatever they use different languages. In addition, people have emotions on fury and sorrow. For example, people express anti emotion on violence or crimes but, feel sorrow on miserable situations. Finally, all human beings are same as living creatures.

H10: Two different jobs I have had.
......I have had two different jobs at Asiana until now. One is Sales & Marketing job and the other is Flight Operations Engineering job. Most of all, the Sales & Marketing job has no written manual for SOP(Standard Operations Procedures). But, Flight Operations Engineering job is based on the written manual and the SOP. All of the information or standard procedures have a written manual published by certain authorized organizations. Sometimes, the Sales & Marketing job want to make a decision by his/her instinct, but Flight Operations decision requires a written and authorized document attached. Both jobs are important in the airline industry but, they require different characters. I am close to the Sales & Marketing job in personal.

H9: Marrying someone of a different religion
......In my opinion, marrying someone of a different religion is difficult but challenging. First of all, it is a chance to know another religion. Family harmony can be established by respecting each other and eventually trying to understand spouse's religion. In addition, it is possible to knowledgeable by studying other's religion. Finally, as most religions say, " Love your Neighbors as your body". You can do it yourself by accepting another religion. If you respect your God, respect other's too.

H8: The DMZ, a burning field.
......I searched my albums to find some pictures with beautiful backgrounds enable to post on my blog. At last, I found a picture of a long time ago of a special background. Look at the background of the picture, a burning field, the place is called the DMZ: De-Militarized Zone. The DMZ is an area which devides the Notrh from the South and has designated as a non-arming area after the Korean War. It is 248 km long from the west to the east end and 4 km wide, 2 km wide on each sides. Iron fences were installed 4 km away from the North side and the whole area is called the DMZ. Every year in the spring, the DMZ has an annual event called "Fire Operation", which is setting fire to the DMZ area beginning at the south and the North at the same time. The reason is to keep the area clear for observation as a tactical purpose and to prevent invasion. The DMZ area is a wild life zone because peoples are not permitted to enter. Once fire operation starts, it burns about a week and animals are visible jumping in the fire. Also, explosive sounds of mines can be heard which was installed during the Korean War. The time and the place at the DMZ’s “Burning Field” was special to me and it was one of the most unforgetable moments in my life.H7: Kimchi ChiGae(Stew)
......I will tell you how to make a Kimchi ChiGae(stew), one of the most popular foods in Korea. First of all, prepare some well-fermented Kimchi and fry with olive oil(pork is optional). Then, add water with some slices of potato, blue pumpkin, onion, and crushed garlic. Finally, boil long enough(more than 10 minutes) and then put some blue onion and bean curd on top. Season it with salt if it doesn't suit your taste. But, most of all, well-fermented Kimchi is the most important ingredient in Kimchi ChiGae(stew).

H6:Running five miles
......I have heard many of you have experience running five miles is not easy and stop soon after starting. Others have similar experiences as shown in the graph below, “Runner’s five mile time: The first seven years”. When Runners start running five miles, in the beginning, it took 45 minutes the first year. After 7 years in running, the time decreased to about 30 minutes. If you look at the difference between year 1 and year 2, you can see the time dropped dramatically from 45 to 34 minutes, which means an 11 minute decrease and the total of 15 minutes in 7 years. The graph below shows a steady decrease from the second year to the end of year 7 with only a 4 minute decrease. If you keep running at least one year, you will see a big difference one year later. Don’t dream it. Just do it.

......Good manners are an essential requirement for office workers. Office workers spend most of their time with other people. Sometimes they have meetings and conferences and good meeting manners are required. They also eat food together in restaurants and good table manners are needed. Sometimes office workers communicate via telephones and good phone manners are required. Good manners are welcomed and bad manners will be booed.
