H7: Kimchi ChiGae(Stew)
......I will tell you how to make a Kimchi ChiGae(stew), one of the most popular foods in Korea. First of all, prepare some well-fermented Kimchi and fry with olive oil(pork is optional). Then, add water with some slices of potato, blue pumpkin, onion, and crushed garlic. Finally, boil long enough(more than 10 minutes) and then put some blue onion and bean curd on top. Season it with salt if it doesn't suit your taste. But, most of all, well-fermented Kimchi is the most important ingredient in Kimchi ChiGae(stew).

ReplyDeleteIt sounds deliciou but most cook books say to boil it fo r 30 minutes. Do you do the same? I heard that the lon you boil it, the yummier it is. Do you have any other tips?
I like pork Kimchi stew. haha
ReplyDeleteI think if Kimchi is delicious, you can make very delicious Kimchi Chigae easily. I always use my mom's Kimchi when I make Kimchi Chigae. This is the way how I make yummy Kimchi Chigae.^^
